Who We Are

The European Public Integrity Foundation (EUPI) is a non-profit, independent institution founded in 2024 to combat corruption and reinforce transparency in public governance across Europe.

Mission

To combat corruption and strengthen public integrity by conducting independent investigations, protecting whistleblowers, advancing transparent governance through technology and open data, and upholding human rights and the rule of law.

Vision

A Europe where public institutions operate with full transparency, accountability, and in the genuine public interest.

Core Values

Integrity

Every member, partner, and staff of EUPI must demonstrate absolute integrity at all times. No compromise is tolerated.
Any act of deception, falsification of facts, concealment of information, or personal gain is considered a serious violation and will trigger immediate investigation and possible criminal prosecution.
Members must resist all forms of coercion, bribery, or undue influence. Even the appearance of impropriety is unacceptable.
Integrity is non-negotiable. Violations result in immediate suspension pending investigation and can lead to permanent termination and legal action.

Accountability

Every action and decision taken within EUPI is fully traceable and accountable.
Negligence, deliberate rule-breaking, or failure to comply with internal procedures is considered a critical offense.
Members must maintain clear and accurate records of all work, decisions, and communications to ensure auditability by internal and external authorities.
Accountability extends to personal and professional conduct: failure to take responsibility will result in severe disciplinary measures, including legal referral.

Transparency

All operations, investigations, and financial activities must be completely transparent within the limits of law and security.
Deliberate withholding of information, manipulation of data, or obstruction of audits is a graveviolation of EUPI’s principles.
Results of investigations and operational reports must be timely and accurately communicated to relevant stakeholders, ensuring full visibility for oversight purposes.
Transparency is enforced rigorously: violations trigger formal disciplinary procedures and potential public disclosure of misconduct.

Rule of Law

EUPI strictly adheres to all applicable national and international laws, including anti-corruption and human rights statutes.
Every investigation, report, and operational action must comply fully with legal requirements, including proper evidence collection, documentation, and procedural standards.
Any action that violates the law or threatens the rights of others is immediately prohibited. Offenders will be subject to criminal investigation and legal consequences.
Upholding the rule of law is non-negotiable; all members are legally and ethically bound to act within it.
